Our Founder’s Story
The Founding of Leeloo
Leeloo Trading was founded by Jody Dahl, whose vision and determination shaped the company’s early mission.
Jody grew up in a hardworking family of farmers and ranchers in Central Montana. For nearly a century, her family built a reputation for dedication, perseverance, and excellence through their nationally recognized purebred Charolais cattle program.
Life on a ranch teaches lessons that mirror the markets. There are no shortcuts to success when discipline, patience, and resilience determine the outcome. Just like trading, agriculture demands commitment, adaptability, and the determination to keep going when conditions change.
But ranching also teaches something just as important: community. Success is built through shared knowledge, support, and helping one another through challenges.
These values—hard work, integrity, and looking out for others—became the foundation for Leeloo. Jody created the platform with the belief that traders deserve a place to develop their skills, grow with confidence, and pursue opportunity in the markets.
In June 2023, Jody sold Leeloo, leaving behind a legacy rooted in opportunity and community.
